Citizens All Association is currently seeking casual caregivers to work in group homes assisting adults withassisting adults with intellectual disabilities.

 Shifts may include waking night shifts, evenings and weekends. These positions can lead to permanent positions for the right candidates.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to :

• Experience is preferred, but we are willing to the right person.

• Valid driver's license.

• A clean criminal record check including a Vulnerable Sector vulnerable sector check (within the last 6 months).months).       

• First aid and CPR course or willingness to take training      

• Post-secondary education in the fields of work in disability services, disability studies or humanities are an asset.

Tasks

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Recruit and hire staff
• Manage kitchen operations

Tasks

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
